It Just Keeps Getting Worse for Tiger Woods
The golf star pulls himself out of a tournament in Florida after complaining of neck pain.

Some may say he deserves it, others may say it’s just bad luck, but Tiger Woods is certainly not a happy camper right now. On Sunday, the golf star withdrew from The Players Championship tournament in Florida, complaining of severe neck pain. It must be serious – Tiger is not one to quit in the middle of a game… or, in the middle of a cheating streak (sorry, we had to!).
Woods was visibly upset when talking to reporters about why he wouldn’t be able to finish the tournament. Throwing his golf shoes to the locker room floor in anger, Woods explained, “I’ve been playing through [the pain], I can’t play through it anymore.” He worries he may have a bulging disk, and plans to have an MRI this week to find out.

The only other time Woods has mentioned his neck was when he spoke about the infamous car accident that happened right outside his house in late November. When asked in a news conference if he was injured when he ran over a fire hydrant and hit a tree, Woods explained, “I had a busted-up lip and a pretty sore neck, and that was it.”
Is this karma for the golf star? And is Elin Nordegren cackling with spite in her new home in Sweden? Who knows. But, considering all that he’s been through, it’s kind of upsetting if Tiger also loses the only thing he’s good at. (Yahoo! News)
